Zeta Leader Of 5 Mexican States And Los Azteca Suspect In U.S. Consulate Worker Homicide Arrested

Zeta kingpin in charge of operations in five Mexican states, and Los Azteca suspect connected to the March 13 U.S. Consulate worker homicide in Juarez arrested

Tabasco, Mexico (HNNUSA) - Roberto Rivero Arana, aka "El Bebo" "El Beto" or "El Felino," a suspected Zeta leader in charge of the Zeta operations in the Mexican states of Tabasco, Veracruz, Campeche, Chiapas and Quintana Roo was arrested by the Federal Ministry Police, the Mexican Attorney General's Office confirmed.
The Ministry Police also arrested Daniel Arturo Pérez Rosas, the City of Carmen Public Security Director in Campeche and Clarissa Yamireth Zeleta Hernández along with Rivero Arana. Pérez Rosas was getting paid more than $15,000 U.S. (200 mil pesos) per month to protect the Zeta operations in Campehe.
Authorities confiscated five AK-47's, five R-15's, 31 ammo magazines with hundreds of bullets, a granade, 800 bags of 100 grams each of marijuana, federal and police clothing, and nine police type radios.
The suspects were taken to Mexico City, where the Federal Anti-Criminal Organization Agency of Investigation (SIEDO) will continue to investigate the criminal activities of the Zetas.
Last weekend, Erick Alejandro Martínez López, aka "El Motokles," a suspected Zeta leader in charge of the operations in the State of Quintana Roo was arrested in Mexico City. López was trying to board a plane headed to Cáncun.
Mexican authorities would not confirm, if the arrest and information taken from López led to the arrest of Rivero Arana, a major Zeta leader.
On Saturday, Ricardo Valles, a member of Los Aztecas was arrested in connection with the March 13 homicides of a U.S. Consulate worker, her husband and the husband of another consulate worker. Valles was captured by both the Mexican state and military police.
Valles confessed to authorities, that he was the look out in the deadly shootings and the victims, Lesley Ann Enriquez, Arthur H. Redelfs and Jorge Salcido were the intended targets in Juarez. The leadership of the Juarez Cartel had ordered the killings, according to Valles.
More suspects are being sought in the U.S. Consulate worker homicide in Mexico.
