Unidentified drug lord taken to Mexico City under heavy guard

Colima, Colima, Mexico - On Monday, the Colima State Preventive Police and Mexican marines captured an unidentified drug lord during a raid operation of several cartel safe houses. The drug lord was transported under heavy guard to the Mexican Attorney General's Office (PGR) in Mexico, D.F., announced the Colima's State Attorney General's Office.
He has not yet been identified, but speculation by government officials indicate it could very well be Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera, 53, the Cartel de Sinaloa drug lord. The PGR is preparing to announce and make public the identity of the drug lord.
Mario Anguiano, Governor of the State of Colima confirmed, that it was a very important drug lord who was taken into custody on Monday, but gave few deatils. He was arrested by state police near Los Asmoles in the municipality of Colima, Colima.
The drug lord was taken into custody by the State Preventive Police who were jointly working with the 6th Regional Naval Marines force during the operation.
