"Macho" Camacho's Shooting Injury Could Paralyzed Him

Former world boxing champ "Macho" Camacho shot on Tuesday night in Bayamon.

Bayamon, Puerto Rico - Former world boxing champion, Hector "Macho" Camacho, 50, of Bayamon was reported shot in the face on Tuesday while seating inside a vehicle in his hometown. Another man that accompanied Camacho was fatally shot by unknown gunmen, according to Puerto Rican Police. 
Camacho suffered a gunshot wound to the jaw and the bullet exited his face and was logged into his shoulder damaging two vertebrae. Camacho could become paralyzed from the injury, but is expected to survive, Dr. Ernesto Torres, the director at the Medical Center in Puerto Rico confirmed during a news conference.
No suspects have been arrested in the incident.
