Glendale, WI - On Tuesday, a black male in his late 20's to early 30's wearing a fake wig, including a marker drawn black colored beard with mustache and a fake beauty mark on his left side of the face entered the UW Credit Union, 6016 N. Port Washington Rd. near the Bayshore Mall around 1:00 p.m. and attempted to rob it. The suspect wearing pink pajamas bottoms gave a note to a cashier requesting money, but the cashier told him the money is now dispensed by a machine, which cash drawers are no longer in use. The would-be robber got disappointed and demanded for the cashier to return his note. Once he got the note, he just hurried out without any cash.
The UW Credit Union bank tellers don't have bullet proof glass to protect them from gun fire at the Glendale location.
Police are investigating the attempted bank robbery by the Pink Pajama Bottoms bandit.
