"Trill" Inspiring Hip Hop Rapper Killed During Armed Robbery In Milwaukee's Southside

Inspiring 23-year-old Hip Hop rapper from East St. Louis killed during an armed robbery in Milwaukee's Southside.

Milwaukee, WI - On Saturday, Mario D. Towns, 23, of East St. Louis, MO was gunned down during an armed robbery around 2:00 p.m. near the 1600 of S. 3rd Street, according to police. Police continue to investigate the homicide.
Towns had moved to Milwaukee and is survived by his girlfriend Jessica James and a child. Towns was an inspiring Hip Hop Rapper who was enrolled in college studing business. He studied at Bryant and Stratton College.
His profile indicates he was self employed and used the name "Trill" as his stage name. He managed to record 5 songs, Star, Why dey hatin, Real Nigga, L's and "Flexing" was his latest song, according to Reverbnation dot com.
In his profile, Towns wrote that his father went to prison when he was 2. "MY FATHER WAS INPRISONED SINCE I WAS 2 THE GRIND NEVER STOPPED I KEPT PUSHING AND FOUND A TALENT THAT I LOVE; AND THE FANS LOVED IT TOO, "IM WHAT THE STREETS AND INDUSTRY BEEN MISSING"!!! ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH GOD IVE HAD A TASTE OF BETTER, AND ONCE I HAD THAT TASTE I STRIVED FOR MORE THIS IS HISTORY IN THE MAKING," CEO Trill posted.
A vigil was held for Towns near S. 3rd and W. Historic Mitchell St. on Monday. No suspects have been arrested in Towns murder, according to police.
