Ixonia, WI - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has identified the female body found at a cornfield on March 29, as Alejandra Guzman-Flores, 23, of Milwaukee. The body of Guzman-Flores was spotted in the field by a driver who saw some crows feeding on the corpse and contacted authorities.
Guzman-Flores was not reported missing by her family in Milwaukee because she had told family members that she was moving to California due to repeated life threats. They never suspected she was murdered until her body was discovered in March and finally identified on Friday. She was last seen on October 5, 2013. The cause of death is pending due to autopsy results by the Milwaukee County Medical examiner's office. But the investigation indicates, she was stabbed multiple times and brutally beaten.
The nude body of Guzman-Flores was found in an advanced state of decomposition and the only items found near the body were sandals.
Investigators say, she might have been left the cornfield since late fall.
Guzman-Flores graduated from South Division High School in 2010 and had announced that she was engaged on July 22, 2013.
