Prince had accused Hickman of cheating and triggered a murder-suicide carnage, according to Chicago police.

Chicago, Illinois - On Monday, Chicago police reported a murder-suicide that left three dead and two injured at a Southside family home at the 3500 block of West 79th Place. Police had been called to the home on Sunday night after a domestic dispute was reported. When police arrived, LaQuisha Hickman, 37, told police that Edward Farrell Prince, 36, had been arguing over their relationship, which Hickman had broken off. Prince had left the home where family members were accustomed to gather for weekend family gatherings.
Hickman filed a domestic abuse report with police against Prince, her long time boyfriend. They have three children together.
Police say, that on Monday just before 8:55 a.m., Prince returned with a handgun and pistol whipped his uncle Elvin Prince, 58, as he forced his way into the home where Hickman had stayed overnight. Prince then shot Deon Tillman, 18, in the leg. Both Elvin and Deon managed to flee from the home and stayed outside as police arrived.
Police heard multiple shots from inside the home and a SWAT Team later entered the home. They found Hickman fatally shot and a family friend, Nicole Loving, 23, also dead at the scene. Prince's body was also found with a self-inflicted wound.
Police say, that children and other family members were inside the home when Prince opened fire and killed both Hickman and Loving. Prince had accused Hickman of cheating on him.
Prince had suffered from a mental illness and was taking medication, but it has not been determined if he had taken medication at the time of the shooting, according to police.
