Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, numerous vehicles were reported towed from the business parking lot located at 1247 S. César E . Chávez Drive. The parking lot property is owned by El Rey Grocery owners who own multiple properties on Chávez Drive.
Also since Monday, reports of numerous of non-customer vehicles were towed from the same parking lot. The parking lot is reserve for clients of a community organization and a cell phone service company, but overflow parking has been experience at the parking lot. Signs of no parking have been posted warning those who park and don't do business in the property of towing at owners expense.
The towing enforcement at the private parking lot had been laxed for months until this week when vehicles began to disappear quickly from the lot after non-customers to several local businesses reported them missing.
