Mexico, D.F. - On Sunday, MVS Radio reported that they have ended a contract agreement with journalist Carmen Aristegui after receiving a letter from her requesting that two of her journalists that were fired last week be rehired. Both Daniel Lizárraga and Irvin Huerta were fired because they use the MVS corporate name to make an unauthorized agreement with Holland's Press Unlimited to be part of an eight member news source to be part of Mexico Leaks, an Internet web page that whistle-blowers could anonymously to submit documents exposing Mexican government corruption.
Critics have said that MVS Radio has received pressure from the PRI Party and President Enrique Peña Nieto's (PRI) administration to get rid of the Journalists involved in exposing the White House real estate property owned by Peña and his wife, and the PRI Party prostitution scandals that Aristegui Noticias exposed and reported.
Cuauhtémoc Gutiérrez de la Torre, the PRI Party leader in Mexico City was involved in a prostitution ring, he was later removed from the job. Women were solicited for employment at the PRI headquarters in Mexico City, but when they were interviewed, it turned out that they would be paid to engage in sex acts with De la Torre while at work.
Aristegui on Monday met with staff near MVS Radio and told media outlets, that the battle begins against the corrupt Peña administration, which she called an authoritarian government suppressing freedom of expression. Aristegui says, that her termination from MVS Radio might have been planned for months by very powerful people using enormous amounts of money indicating that MVS executives might have been bribed. Aristegui will evaluate her termination and plan to counter attack corrupt alliances against her for exposing Peña Nieto's real estate scandal and the PRI Party prostitution ring at the Mexico City office. Aristegui and her staff were working in seceral other scandals involving Peña Nieto's narco-goverment when her contact with MVS was terminated.
