Milwaukee, WI - Last Thursday, Captain Alfonso Morales from the Second Milwaukee Police District Station during a crime analysis meeting announced that he would no longer head the Southside 2nd Police District Station stunning community members. Morales was replaced by Captain Heather N. Wurth who is now in-charge at Police District 2. Milwaukee Police Lieutenant Wurth was promoted to Captain on November 22, 2015.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that Milwaukee Police Chief Edward A. Fynn decided to promote Captain Morales to head a project at the Intelligence Fusion Center (IFC) and will work in coordination with Captain David Salazar, head of the IFC.
Morales will work with state and federal law enforcement agencies in coordination to go after "the worst of the worst" criminal element.

In 1993, Morales as a police rookie was first assigned to the Second Police District Station and served four years. But on June 2013 after 20 years of service with Milwaukee Police Department, Captain Morales returned as its commander.
Captain Morales who is fluent in both Spanish and English was an asset to the Milwaukee Southside and predominately Hispanic community. Morales has an impressive and honorable service record in the department. He was an officer from 1993 to 1999, then was promoted to detective from 1999 to 2003 where he served in the homicide division, then became a Lieutenant in 2003, where served in several assignments that included the homicide division, internal affairs, training academy and the narcotics bureau.
