Milwaukee, WI - On Thursday, three Afro-American teens driving in a stolen Passat VW auto going Northbound on S. 13th Street just before 7:00 p.m. ran a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle crossing Westbound on W. Becher St. The chain reaction crash struck a van stopped on Southbound S. 13th Street intersection causing damage and injuring a woman driver and two other people.
The three teens in the stolen UW Passat fled the scene, according to a woman who was standing in the Westnorth corner.
Not one police squad was at the scene, but firefighters and tow trucks arrived to clear the intersection.
Two of the teen suspects with blood on their clothes fled through W. Grant and S. 15th St., according to neighbors who say they saw the teens running. Another vehicle going Northbound on S. 13th after the incident managed to strike the stolen Passat, then police arrived after one car was towed and victims taken to a local hospital. A chaotic scene with no police around.
