Suspect Sought For Homicide Of Leopoldo M. Vela At Los Tres Portillos/Corona Jewelry In Milwaukee's Southside

Milwaukee police are looking for suspect in connection with the shooting death of a male victim at a Milwaukee Southside precious metals & gems dealer and food store.

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, police are looking for a male suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of Leopoldo M. Vela, 57, around 10:35 a.m. at Los Tres Portillo's Centro de Envios/Corona Jewelry, precious metals & gem's dealer and grocery store at 1401 S. 7th Street. The Milwaukee Common Council Licensing Committee approved Portillo's license in May 2016.
Vela, who is originally from La Calera, Zacatecas, Mexico was apparently shot in the chest and later died at a local hospital, according to police.
Police released a photo of the alleged suspect caught on surveillance camera video and is seeking the aid of the community to identify the man.

I want to thank you Mr.Goodson for writing this article in hopes of catching the scum who took my uncle's life. I hope they catch the person who did this to my him and soon.
